Define Favorite Flags Window

This window allows you to manage your list of favorite flags, which Windographer copies into each new Windographer document that you create. To access this window, choose Define Favorite Flags from the Flag menu.

Use the buttons to add or subtract from the list, or to modify any flag. To create a copy of flag, select it and then click Add. The Flag Properties window will allow you to enter the name, color and default handling of a favourite flag.

Tip: Changes you make to the list of favorite flags have no effect on any existing Windographer documents. Windographer refers to the list of favorite flags only when you create a new document or open an old version 1 document. At that time, it copies the favorite flags into that document.

To add one of your favorite flags to an existing Windographer document that does not already include that flag, open the document, go to the Define Flags window, and click Import from Favorites.

Windographer stores your favorite flags as simple .xml files. You can copy and share these files between users. You can indicate to Windographer the folder that contains these files from the Folders tab of the Tools > Options window.

Special Purpose Flags

For convenience and to ensure consistency, in certain circumstances Windographer applies a flag automatically, or provides a default flag. Namely:

The Define Favorite Flags window lets you specify these special-purpose flags. As with other changes you make in this window, your choices of special-purpose flags do not affect existing Windographer documents. They only affect the new documents that you create.
