Flag

In Windographer, a flag is a category that you can use to mark and filter data. It's really just a name and a color. You can apply flags to data segments, then use those flags to include or exclude those data segments from calculations, graphs, and export files.

Windographer's flagging capability offers a powerful and flexible way to perform quality control on datasets. You can define your own flags, apply them both manually and automatically, and then filter the data according to the applied flags.

Flags in Windographer belong to one of two categories:

  1. Default-included flags are those whose properties indicate that data to which they have been applied should be included in calculations by default
  2. Default-excluded flags are those whose properties indicate that data to which they have been applied should be excluded from calculations by default
