Colocation Threshold

The colocation threshold is the separation distance within which Windographer considers two or more sensors of the same type to have effectively the same measurement height. Windographer considers two or more sensors of the same type at effectively the same height to be colocated sensors.

In the Configure Dataset window you can enter the colocation threshold for a particular dataset:

In the Options window you can set the default colocation threshold to be assigned to any new dataset you create.

Windographer uses the colocation threshold to identify colocated sensors in the Flag Tower Shading window, the Tower Distortion window, and the Combine Anemometers window. But it also uses the colocation threshold in its application of the nearest-in-height rule to identify primary columns and associated columns.
