Temperature Gradient Calculated Column

This calculated data column will contain the temperature gradient in every time step of the dataset. The dataset must contain temperature data measured at two or more different measurement heights.

Windographer calculates the temperature gradient in every time step using the temperature sensors that you select:

Note that default flag filtering applies to these calculations. The number of temperature sensors involved in the calculation will vary from one time step to the next depending on which sensors report valid measurements in each time step. In a time step where Windographer cannot calculate the temperature gradient because of insufficient data, the temperature gradient calculated column will have a gap.

Like it does for all calculated data columns, Windographer will re-calculate the temperature gradient calculated column whenever you change any of the source data columns, for example by flagging or deleting a segment, applying a scale factor, or appending more data.
