Period of Record

The period of record (POR) of a dataset is the date range covered by that dataset. More precisely, it is the time interval starting at the beginning of the dataset's first time step, and ending at the end of its last time step.

The Workbook Explorer displays the POR of each dataset.

Example

The POR of the dataset shown below is 2021-02-12 05:40 to 2021-02-12 08:00. (Note that the last time step begins at 07:50, but ends at 08:00.)
