Add/Edit Database Configuration Window

This window lets you add or edit a database connnection. To create a database connnection you have to indicate a name and specify how to connect to the database, either via a registered ODBC data source or via a connection string. If the database requires a user name and password, you will need to specify them as well.

Click ODBC Administrator to open the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator window and configure an ODBC data source. Once you have done so, Windographer will list that data source (and any others you have registered) in the drop-down box, and you can simply choose it from the list. You can instead directly enter a connection string and avoid having to create an ODBC data source.

Click Test Connection to confirm that Windographer can connect successfully to the database.
