Ratio of Colocated Wind Speed Sensors - Calculated Column

In Tools > Options > General you can instruct Windographer to create a calculated data column of the ratio of each pair of colocated wind speed speed sensors. You can view the ratio column in all the graphic and tabular formats that Windographer provides.

Whenever you change a column containing one of the colocated wind speeds, for example by flagging, scaling, deleting, or appending, Windographer will re-calculate the ratio data column, and any other calculated column that depends on the column you changed.

The calculated ratio data column inherits the flagged status of its precursor data columns, so if you flag a segment of the speed column with some flag, Windographer will automatically apply that same flag to the corresponding segment of the calculated ratio data column as well. You cannot flag a calculated column directly, so any flags that apply to a calculated ratio column originate from this inheritance mechanism.

Tip: The Wind Speed Ratios window lets you further analyze wind speed ratios or differences.

You can define your own ratio columns using calculated data columns. Default flag filtering will apply to ratio columns defined this way.
