Time Stamp |
In Windographer we use the term 'time stamp' to mean a date/time value that represents a time step, usually in a dataset imported into or exported from Windographer.
A time stamp is a shorthand way of referring to a time step because a time step is an interval of time, not an instant in time. The time stamp typically refers either to the beginning or the end of that time interval, but sometimes refers to the middle of the interval. Windographer uses the time stamp meaning to identify which convention applies.
