Grid Interconnection Charge

The grid interconnection charge is a one-time fee charged by the utility for allowing a power system to connect to the grid. HOMER does not apply this fee to grid-only systems, but rather to grid-connected systems that include some other generation source. For these systems, the interconnection charge is added to the grid capital cost.
